Cones

Objective

Dribble through the cones in a slalom pattern.  Start by going to the right of the first cone (see the screen shot above).  Turn around at the last cone and head back to the start.  Beat your personal best time or attempt to best the world record listed at the "Simple Game" website.

If you hear a "buzzer" sound as you pass a cone, you've passed the cone on the wrong side.

Controlling the ball

Click on the ball using the left mouse button.  Depending on where the "cleat" cursor is located over the ball when the mouse button is clicked, the ball will accelerate to the left, right, or forward.  The farther your touch towards the edge of the ball, the more sharply it will be cut (turned).

To turn the ball very sharply, hold the CTRL key down as you click the mouse.  This is especially useful at the last cone where you must turn around and head back to the starting cone.

Current Time and World Record

Your current time is shown in black in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.  Your personal best is shown in red above the current time.

If you beat your personal best, a "Personal Best" window will appear displaying your new record.  If you think you may have beaten the World Record time for navigating the cones (the current World Record can be found at www.creative-computing-inc.com), take a screen shot of the "Personal Best" window (alt-Print Screen) and e-mail the screen shot to records@creative-computing-inc.com.  Include your initials and, optionally, your country if you'd like them to be listed along side your world record.
